Join the Friends of Springton Manor Fam and Echo Dell Nature Conservancy as they welcome Doug Wentzel of Shaver's Creek Environmental Center, for a spring bird walk. As spring migration turns into nesting season, our walk will traverse the meadow, forest and by the great barn. From sparrows to hawks, the farm provides great habitat to enjoy a diversity of birds.
Meet at the carriage house at Springton Manor Farm, park in the first parking lot on the right. Participants should be prepared to walk on uneven terrain and dress for the weather. Bring binoculars if you have them, some binoculars will be available to borrow. This event will still take place in light rain.
